This yuzu oil combines neutral rapeseed oil with essential oil extracted from yuzu peel, sourced in Japan. Thanks to its concentrated flavour, only a small amount is needed to achieve a distinct yuzu aroma.
Unlike yuzu juice, this oil adds flavour without increasing acidity or bitterness. This keeps a dish's balance intact, while the characteristic citrus note of yuzu still comes through clearly.
A few drops are enough to finish a dish: over ramen soup, through cake batter or on sashimi. Also suitable for dressings, marinades and other applications where a subtle yuzu touch is desired.
