Black Cod (Gindira) salted and marinated in Saikyo miso, frozen.
Hokkai’s Gindira Saikyozuke features Black Cod, salted and marinated in mild and slightly sweet Saikyo miso. This traditional Japanese method enhances the buttery texture and rich flavour of the fish. Best prepared in the oven or under the grill and served with rice and vegetables.
Cooking instructions: Defrost the fish in the sealed package for 30 minutes in cold water or overnight in the refrigerator. Preheat the oven or grill to 230°C. Place the fish skin side up on a baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes. Serve
