Ebi Katsu, a modern Japanese comfort food

Ebi Katsu is a modern Japanese comfort food you must try!

Katsu is a popular Japanese comfort food, usually made with chicken or meat and a delicious crispy golden panko coating.

Although Ebi Katsu is a relatively modern invention in the rich Japanese culinary tradition, it has quickly earned a place as a beloved classic. Inspired by the Western schnitzel (Katsu), Ebi Katsu became popular in the early 20th century and has since become a favorite dish in both Japanese households and restaurants worldwide.
