

Gyudon means ''beef bowl'' and is a Japanese dish. The bowl consists rice topped with beef and onion which is simmered in a sweet sauce (in this recipe we use the Nihon Shokken rice bowl sauce). The Nihon Shokken sauce makes it easy to prepare the dish fast.
Ingredients:
- Rice bowl sauce
- Rice
- Beef
- Onion
- Beni shoga
How to make gyudon?
- Cook the rice (its best to use sushi rice).
- Mix sauce and water 40g each. (Sauce : water = 1 : 1)
- Slice the onions and beef.
- Simmer sliced onions and beef.
- Mix the sauce with the sliced onions and beef.
- Add the rice to a bowl and put the sliced onions and beef on top.
- As topping you can use beni Shoga.
